1. Blake Thiry (Prairie du Chien High School) Blake competed at the Bi-State Classic in La Crosse this past weekend. Blake won by fall in his first two matches both happening in the 1st period. In his 3rd match he won by a 4-3 decision. He earned a spot in the championship match with an 11-2 MD in the semi finals. Blake won the 215 lb. weight class with a 4-2 decision and defeated the wrestler who beat him last year in this tournament.
2. Elizabeth Wright (Wauzeka-Steuben High School) Elizabeth helped the Hornets go into the Holiday break with two victories. In the week’s first game, Elizabeth scored 17 points and had 10 rebounds as the Hornets beat De Soto 59-40. In game number 2 Elizabeth scored 12 points and had 3 assists helping the Hornets defeat Seneca 55-13.
3. Rylee Mudderman (Kee High School) Rylee helped the Kee Hawks pick up two conference victories before the Holiday break. In the first game Rylee scored 28 points and had 6 assists and 11 steals to help the Kee Hawks beat Clayton Ridge 61-22. To finish up the week Rylee scored 32 points and had 8 steals in the Kee Hawks 62-33 win over Central.
