1. Brody Gress (Waukon High School) Brody helped the Indians go 2-2 last week with both victories in the conference. The Indians started the week with a doubleheader sweep over Charles City. In game 1 Brody went 2-2 with 2 walks, 3 runs scored, and 2 RBIs helping the Indians win 12-6. In game 2 Brody went 3-5 with a team-high 4 RBIs as the Indians won 10-0. The Indians would fall in their final two contests of the week against MFL MarMac and New Hampton but Brody added two more hits and an RBI to his weekly total in those games.
2. Emme Wikner (MFL MarMac High School) Emme helped the Bulldogs to a 3-2 record last week. The Bulldogs started the week splitting a doubleheader with West Central. The Bulldogs took game 1 11-5. Emme went 1-4 with a RBI. The Bulldogs dropped game 2 but Emme went 3-3 with a run scored. Next up for the Bulldogs was a doubleheader against Postville. The Bulldogs won both games. In game 1 Emme went 3-4 with 4 RBIs and 3 runs scored. In game 2 she went 4-4 with 6 RBIs and 5 runs scored. The Bulldogs dropped their final game of the week to Waukon. Emme went 1-3 in the contest.
