1. Ty Adrian (River Ridge High School) Ty and the Timberwolves won their final regular season game as they prepare for postseason play this week. Ty had 4 rushes for 127 yards and 2 touchdowns. He also caught a pass for 92 yards and another touchdown. Ty who already has the career interceptions record at River Ridge had another one on Friday night as the Timberwolves defeated Pec/Argyle 56-8.
2. Graine Curtin (Waukon High School) Graine and the Indians won Friday night over New Hampton to secure a playoff birth. Graine had 13 carries for 138 yards and 4 touchdowns. On defense, he had 4 tackles and a fumble recovery. Waukon defeated New Hampton 52-21.
3. Nora Jillson (Boscobel High School) Nora had a great day on the course at the SWAL Conference Championship Meet. Nora competed in a field of 54 runners and won the meet with a time of 18:44 defeating the 2nd place runner by 31 seconds. Nora’s 1st place finish helped the Bulldogs finished in 3rd place overall as a team.
