1. Tessa Czajkowski Higgins (Prairie du Chien High School) Tessa helped the Lady Hawks to two conference victories last week. In the Hawks’ first game of the week, Tessa had a hat trick, scoring 3 goals in the 3-0 win over Galena. Tessa followed up that performance with a double hat trick against Richland Center. Tessa scored 6 of her team’s 8 goals in the 8-0 win over Richland Center.
2. Ben Krambeer (MFL MarMac High School) Ben and the Bulldogs had a great week on the course, picking up 3 wins. In the Bulldogs’ first meet of the week, they defeated South Winneshiek 163 to 169. Ben shot a 38, which earned him 1st place as an individual. Next up for the Bulldogs was a Triangular with Waukon and Postville. The Bulldogs shot the low team score of 158, and again Ben was the low individual with a 36. The Bulldogs wrapped up the week with a victory over North Fayette Valley, 156 to 177. Ben shot a low 9-hole score once again with a 37.
3. Miles Kandler (North Crawford High School) Miles and the Trojans picked up two conference victories last week. First, they defeated De Soto in extra innings, 3-2. Miles went 1-4 with an RBI in the win. Later in the week, the Trojans defeated La Fage 15-5. Miles went 3-3 with 4 RBIs, including a 3-run HR, and 4 runs scored in the victory.
