Prairie du Chien, WI – As the demand for behavioral health services grows nationwide, Crossing Rivers Health continues to expand to accommodate the region’s need, now adding providers focusing on outpatient therapy, psychiatry, and medication management.
Crossing Rivers Health Clinic welcomes Bridget Schultz, Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, to the Center for Behavioral Health team. Bridget is a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner passionate about helping patients achieve optimal mental health and well-being. Bridget treats adolescents to older adults, including those seeking treatment for ADHD, anxiety, and depression.
Bridget is excited to return to Crossing Rivers Health. She has a wealth of knowledge from her experience in the medical field. “I have experience working as a registered nurse in a medical-surgical unit, as an assisted living manager where I helped manage residents’ mental health needs by monitoring their psychotropic medications and completing rounding with the psychiatrist, and as a hospice coordinator,” explained Bridget.
Bridget said, “My goal is to collaborate with my patients and tailor the treatment plan to their unique needs and goals. I aim to help them achieve their optimal well-being by addressing both their physical and mental health. Helping my patients thrive and become their best selves is one of the greatest rewards of being a mental health provider.”
Bridget received her Master’s in Science of Nursing, Psychiatric Mental Health from Maryville University. She is also a member of The National Society of Leadership and Success, Maryville University of Saint Louis Chapter, which recognizes and develops leadership skills among students and alumni. She completed her residency at Pathways Behavioral Health in Waverly Iowa, Blackhawk Grundy Mental Health Center in Waterloo, IA, and Hirsch Clinic Behavioral Health in Viroqua, WI.
