A Fayette County man was arrested after authorities found that he was holding a person against their will in Postville. After a month-long investigation, a Fayette County Deputy took 39-year-old Robert Williams of Postville into custody on Saturday. It was learned Williams had been abusing his victim inside their shared residence and at often times would not allow his victim to leave the residence. Williams was located and taken into custody outside a residence in Postville. Williams was transported to the Fayette county Jail where he was charged with 2 counts of Domestic abuse and False Imprisonment. Williams was later released on a $12,000 bond. Fayette County was assisted by West Union Police Department and Postville Police Department.
