Prairie du Chien Police Department’s K-9 “Rico” assisted a nearby agency to conduct a sniff of a building and a vehicle on Monday. The K-9 indicated the presence of controlled substances in a vehicle parked outside of a building and some luggage inside of the building. Law enforcement conducted a search that turned up a firearm with two loaded magazines, methamphetamine, THC and some drug paraphernalia. The people arrested may be charged with Felon in Possession of a Firearm, Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Possession of THC. The incident is under investigation.
