Area Halloween Events:
Trick or Treating on Blackhawk Avenue in Downtown Prairie du Chien will take place Saturday, October 29th 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm with over 40 locations handing out treats.
- 12:30 pm: Kids Costume Contest with judging at the Halls of Terror.
- Registration at 11:30 am.
- Lights On Tour 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm, $2
- 2:30 pm Canine Costume Contest in the Sports World Lot. Judging proceeds go to Rivers and Bluffs Animal Shelter.
- 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm Games in the Sports World Lot
Elkader Business Trick or Treating, Saturday, Oct. 29, 10 am – 2 pm
Mc Gregor Halloween Parade Saturday, October 29th at 10am, traveling from the middle school down Main Street. The festival will follow from 11am to 2pm at Triangle Park, in downtown McGregor, and include games, face painting, tarot card readings, a giant pumpkin guessing contest, Halloween caroling and more!
Wauzeka-Steuben School is hosting “Haunted Halls” Saturday and Sunday, October 29th and 30th. Lights on 6pm to 7pm and lights off 7pm to 10pm both nights. $5 per person. Enter through the main doors in the parking lot.
