On Friday, March 7th, 2025, at approximately 8:18 p.m., Crawford County Sheriff Dale McCullick reports that the Sheriff’s Office K9 Unit (Diego) conducted a traffic stop on Prospect Street in the Village of Soldiers Grove. The driver was identified as Joel Davis (44) of West Salem, Wisconsin. During the traffic stop, K9 Diego was utilized and alerted to the presence of one or more controlled substances in the vehicle. A vehicle search ensued, and methamphetamine was discovered. Davis was taken into custody and transported to the Crawford County Jail on charges of possession of methamphetamine and bail-jumping.
