On September 16, 2024, the Winneshiek County Sheriff’s Office responded to a residence on Military Road in Castalia for a disturbance. Subsequently, Michael Johnson was arrested and transported to the Winneshiek County Jail for serious misdemeanor domestic abuse assault causing injury or mental illness, first offense.
