On September 9th, 2024, at approximately 01:43 a.m. Fayette County Deputies were called to the 25,000 block of Lincoln Road in reference to a single vehicle/ single occupant rollover accident. Upon arrival deputies identified Stryker A. Long age, 22 of Eldorado as the driver of the 2013 Chevy Silverado K250 involved in the accident. Stryker had been ejected from his vehicle and sustained serious injuries, which he was transported via ambulance to Gundersen-Palmer hospital in West Union to be treated for. The accident remains under investigation. The Fayette County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the West Union Police Department, West Union Fire, and Gundersen Ambulance.
