On December 1st, 2023, at 8:20 pm, Clayton County Deputies were dispatched to the intersection of Kayak and Keystone Road for a one vehicle rollover accident. Upon further investigation, it was determined that Randy Lindner (67) of Guttenberg, was involved in the accident and left the scene, Lindner later returned to the scene intoxicated with alcohol in his possession. Lindner was placed under arrest and transported to the Clayton County Jail where he was charged with Public Intoxication. The Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Iowa State Patrol and Mar-Mac Police Department.
On December 5th, 2023, at approximately 2:32 PM, Clayton County Deputies were dispatched to a report of a one vehicle roll-over at 16563 King Rd. near McGregor, lA. Deputies identified two male subjects near the vehicle when they arrived on scene. Deputies identified the driver as Thomas Perry Olds (70) of McGregor. Thomas exhibited signs of impairment and deputies could smell an odor of an alcohol beverage coming from his person. Deputies conducted the SFST’s on Thomas and saw signs of impairment. Thomas was arrested and held at the Clayton County Jail for OWI 1st Offense (serious) and Open Container. The Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Iowa State Patrol and Mar-Mac Police.
On December 20th, 2023, the Clayton County Sheriff’s Office responded to a suspicious person in Garnavillo, lA. Deputies found Sonrae Wilson (23) of Garnavillo sleeping in her car. The investigation resulted in Sonrae being arrested for operating while intoxicated 1st offense and possession of a controlled substance 1st offense, both serious misdemeanors.
On December 16th, 2023, Clayton County Deputies were dispatched to Guttenberg area for possible stolen vehicle. The vehicle was later located on 245th street in Greeley, Iowa being operated by Heather Lee Sullivan (33) from Colesburg, Iowa. Upon further investigation, Sullivan was arrested and transported to the Clayton County Jail where she was charged with Driving While Suspended. The Sherrif’s office was assisted by Delaware County Sheriff’s Office.
