Two Arrested After Entering Fayette County Sheriff’s Office Intoxicated

On April 12, 2025, at approximately 9:00 am, the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a suspicious person in the lobby at the Sheriff’s Office who was attempting to visit an inmate in the jail. After further investigation, Tosha Danielle Medina, age 40 of Hazleton, was arrested for Simulated Public Intoxication (Simple Misdemeanor) and Possession of a Controlled Substance 2nd Offense – Methamphetamine (Aggravated Misdemeanor). In addition to this incident, a K9 was deployed on the vehicle Medina arrived in at the Sheriff’s Office. The vehicle, a Gray 2014 Gray Ram 2500 truck, and illegal substances were seized. The driver of the truck was identified as Mario Joseph Pirillo, age 62 of Oelwein. Pirillo was found to be intoxicated. Pirillo was arrested and charged with Operating While Intoxicated 1st Offense (Serious Misdemeanor), Possession of a Controlled Substance 1st Offense – Methamphetamine (Serious Misdemeanor), and Possession of a Controlled Substance 1st Offense – Marijuana (Serious Misdemeanor). Both Medina and Pirillo were transported to the Fayette County Jail where they await an initial appearance from a Magistrate Judge.
