During a 3-week investigation 10 narcotic related search warrants have been executed in Fayette County which yielded 13 arrests and 37 charges. Search warrants were executed in the cities of Hawkeye, Arlington, West Union and Clermont. During the course of this investigation, approximately a half pound of marijuana, half ounce of methamphetamine, and numerous pills were found and seized. During this time, Fayette County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by Iowa State Patrol, Clayton County Sheriff’s Office, Fayette Police Department, and West Union Police Department. More charges are pending at this time. The following people were arrested and charged with drug related charges;
Melissa Ellen Shaw, 40 of Clermont: was arrested and charged with Possession with Intent to Delivery Methamphetamine (class B felony), 2 counts of Felony Child Endangerment (D Felonies), Drug Tax Violation (D Felony), Possession of Methamphetamine 2nd Offense (aggravated misdemeanor), and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (simple misdemeanor)
Caleb Justin Hammel, 18 of Clermont: was arrested and charged with Possession of Marijuana 1st Offense (serious misdemeanor) and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (simple misdemeanor).
Audie Wood, 51 of West Union: was arrested and charged with Possession of Methamphetamine 1st Offense (serious misdemeanor)
Matthew Lee Helgerson 30 of West Union: was arrested and charged with Child Endangerment (aggravated misdemeanor) and Possession of Marijuana 1st Offense (serious misdemeanor)
Desirae Jean Jordan, 28 of West Union: was arrested and charged with Child Endangerment (aggravated misdemeanor) and Possession of Marijuana 1st Offense (serious misdemeanor)
Alex Dettbarn, 32 of Arlington: was arrested and charged with Possession with Intent to Deliver Other Controlled Substance, C Felony, Possession with Intent to Deliver Marijuana, Failure to Affix Drug tax Stamp, D Felonies, Possession of Controlled Substance- Marijuana, (serious misdemeanor) and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (simple misdemeanor)
Hannah Rose Bodley, 22 of Hawkeye, was arrested and charged with Possession of Controlled substance Marijuana 1st offense (serious misdemeanor) and Possession of drug paraphernalia (simple misdemeanor).
Matthew Timothy Burnell, 48 of Hawkeye, was arrested and charged with Possession of Marijuana 3rd Offense (aggravated misdemeanor) and possession of Drug Paraphernalia (simple misdemeanor).
Jennifer Lynn Herman, 43 of Hawkeye, is being charged with Possession of Controlled Substance- Marijuana 3rd Offence (D Felony) and possession of Drug Paraphernalia (simple misdemeanor).
James Alfred Cornwell, 42 of Arlington is being charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance – Methamphetamine 3rd Offense (Class D Felony), Possession of Marijuana 3rd Offense (Class D Felony) and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (simple misdemeanor).
Brian David Coonradt, 61 of Hawkeye was arrested on 2 separate occasions and charged with two counts of Possession of a Controlled substance – Methamphetamine 3rd Offense, two counts Possession of a Controlled substance Marijuana 3rd Offense all Class D Felonies , and two counts of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (simple misdemeanor). These charges stem from two search warrants at Mr. Coonradt’s residence in one week.
Taryn Elizabeth Weaver, 40 of Arlington was arrested and charged with Possession of a Controlled substance – Marijuana 1st Offense (serious misdemeanor) and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (simple misdemeanor).
Dakota Green Howard, 31 of Arlington was arrested and charged with Possession of a Controlled substance – Marijuana 1st Offense (serious misdemeanor) and Possession Drug Paraphernalia (simple misdemeanor)
