On Thursday, February 27th, 2025, at approximately 7:08 p.m., Crawford County Sheriff Dale McCullick reports that deputies responded to a physical altercation taking place at the gas station in the Village of Wauzeka. An investigation determined that Donovan Bruns (30) of Wauzeka, assaulted a customer outside of the station and fled from the scene. The adult victim sustained multiple injuries but declined medical attention. Bruns was ultimately arrested and transported to the Crawford County Jail on charges of disorderly conduct and battery. Also, Bruns was charged with felon in possession of a firearm. The firearm was not used or part of the assault.
