Potosi Man Arrested on Domestic Abuse Charges

On 12/27/2024, at approximately 6:18PM, Deputies with the Grant County Sheriff’s Office responded to a residence in the Village of Potosi for
a reported disturbance. Once on scene, Deputies conducted an investigation, and subsequently took 19-year old Dayton Udelhofen of Potosi
into custody. Udelhofen was transported and booked into the Grant County Jail for charges of disorderly conduct, domestic abuse related.

Udelhofen was able to post a cash bond, and was released.

Following his release, Udelhofen returned to the residence where another domestic disturbance occurred. Deputies responded and took
Udelhofen into custody for a second time. Udelhofen was again transported to the Grant County Jail where he was booked for charges of:
disorderly conduct, domestic abuse related, battery, criminal damage to property, strangulation/suffocation, and child abuse.

Reports from both incidents will be referred to the Grant County District Attorney’s Office for review and a charging decision.
