Traffic Stop Leads to Arrest of Winona Woman on Drug Related Charges

On Sunday, August 18th, 2024, Sheriff Dale McCullick reports that the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office K-9 Unit (Diego) conducted a traffic stop in the Township of Freeman. During the stop, K-9 Diego was deployed and alerted to the presence of one or more controlled substances.

Nicola Garfield (46) of Winona, MN, was discovered to be in possession of numerous baggies of methamphetamine and items of drug paraphernalia. Garfield was arrested and transported to the Crawford County Jail on charges of possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and felony bail jumping.
