Davenport Man Arrested in Grant County for Operating While Intoxicated

On 7/21/24 at approximately 9:00 pm, Grant County Dispatch received a 911 call of a three-vehicle crash south of the City of Boscobel.

The Grant County Sheriff’s Office responded and identified Frank M. Klee, age 55 of Davenport, IA as the driver of vehicle that had lost control and struck a guardrail. Frank’s vehicle came to rest in the lane of traffic, causing blockage. Two other vehicles collided due to avoiding the blockage causing disabling damage to both vehicles. A 2023 Honda being driven by Jordan Powers, age 38 of Lancaster and a 2013 Dodge Caravan being driven by Grace Ideker, age 31 of Onalaska, WI. Only minor injuries were reported by the parties involved.

Grant County Deputies investigated and arrested Klee for Operating while Intoxicated – 1st Offense. The passenger in Klee’s vehicle, Hailey Perez, age 29 of Davenport, IA, was cited for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Boscobel Police Department, Boscobel Fire Department, Boscobel EMS, and Terry’s Tire and Tow assisted at the scene.
