On June 30th at approximately 12:12 AM, the Grant County Sheriff’s Office was informed of a crash that had occured on Hunters Hollow Rd in Mt. Ida Township. It was reported that several people were in a field with a truck trying to remove a SUV with airbag deployment after crashing through a gate and a fence. The initial Deputy on scene located the vehicle, a 2008 Tan Chevy Trailblazer, and its owner, Glen Tydrich-Franke, 19, of Fennimore sitting beside it. Tydrich-Franke was cited for Underage Consumption of Alcohol and Failure to Report an Accident. A subsequent investigation led to the driver of the vehicle, Nolan Schoepp, 18, of Fennimore being located in the City of Fennimore. Schoepp was arrested for Operating while Intoxicated 1st offense and cited for Failure to Maintain Control. No injuries were reported.
