(GAYS MILLS, WI) – The Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection has selected Crawford County to host the 78th Alice in Dairyland Finals in May 2025.
Alice in Dairyland Finals Committee Co-Chairs Carol Roth and Stephanie Binversie made the official announcement at the Crawford County Dairy Breakfast on Saturday, June 1 during the Crawford County Dairy Royalty Coronation.
Alice in Dairyland is a communications professional who works to educate the public about Wisconsin agriculture. Each May, a new Alice is selected from a group of candidates during an extensive public job interview process and, each year, a different county hosts the finals. Home to three Alice in Dairyland alumnae, this is the first time the southwestern county will host this celebration of Wisconsin agriculture.
Formed in 1818, Crawford County is one of Wisconsin’s original counties. Rural farmlands are surrounded by three major rivers with the Mississippi, Wisconsin, and Kickapoo Rivers. According to the 2022 Census of Agriculture, Crawford County is home to 899 farms and manages 194,544 acres of farmland.
