Multiple Traffic Stops lead to Arrests in Crawford County

On Friday, May 3rd, 2024, Sheriff Dale McCullick reports that a traffic stop had been conducted on STH 35 in the Township of Eastman. The driver was identified as Matthew Dolan (37) of Hokah, Minnesota, and his passenger as Nicole Wisniewski (37) of La Crosse, Wisconsin.

During the stop, Crawford County Sheriff’s Office K9 Diego was utilized and alerted to the presence of one or more controlled substances within the vehicle. A search of the vehicle resulted in the discovery of fentanyl, methamphetamine, and drug paraphernalia.

Dolan and Wisniewski were arrested and transported to the Crawford County Jail on charges of possession of methamphetamine, possession of a narcotic drug, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

On Tuesday, May 7th, 2024, at approximately 9:53 p.m., Sheriff Dale McCullick reports that a traffic stop had been conducted on US Highway 61 in the Township of Marietta. The driver was identified as Geramia Swadley (43) of Soldiers Grove, and his passengers as Jourdan Womack (28) and Corben Eck (21) of Platteville, Wisconsin.

During the stop, a Grant County Sheriff’s Office K9 was utilized and alerted to the presence of one or more controlled substances within the vehicle. A search of the vehicle resulted in the discovery of methamphetamine. Also, Womack was discovered to have drug paraphernalia and methamphetamine on her person.

Swadley was arrested for operating a motor vehicle under the influence of a restricted controlled substance (4th Offense), operating a motor vehicle while revoked, and two counts of felony bail jumping. Womack was arrested for possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. Eck was arrested on an active warrant.

The Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Grant County Sheriff’s Office, Boscobel Police Department, and the Terry’s Tire & Tow Service.
