Fayette County Press Release

On 8/31/23, at approximately 7:48 pm, the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office received a report of property that was vandalized in the city of Waucoma. Upon further investigation it was learned that Xavier Coleman Gullickson 18 of Calmar had arrived at a home and caused approximately $300.00 in damages. Gullickson also made entry into a building without owner’s consent. Gullickson has been charged with Criminal Mischief 5th Degree and Burglary in the 3rd Degree. Gullickson later turned himself in at the Fayette County Jail where he awaited his initial appearance.

On 9/8/23, at approximately 9:45 pm, the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office received a driving complaint on Highway 18 (Harding Rd) of a red sedan driving all over the roadway. Fayette County Deputies initiated a traffic stop on the vehicle. While conducting the traffic stop it was learned that the driver Oliver Yonatan Lopez Tagual age 28 of Postville was operating the motor vehicle while intoxicated. Upon investigation it was also learned that Lopez’s driving status was revoked. Lopez was then transported to the Fayette County Jail where he is being charged with Operating While Intoxicated 2nd Offense and Driving While License Revoked.

On 9/16/23, at approximately 4:25 pm, the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a male at the Hennyville festival in Clermont causing a disturbance. Fayette County Deputies located Justin Amos Pritchard age 42 of Decorah walking down Crystal Rd heavily intoxicated. Pritchard was arrested for public intoxication and transported to the Fayette County Jail to await his initial appearance.

On 9/17/23, at approximately 7:14 pm ,the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office Received a report of a possible Burglary in rural Fayette County. Upon further investigation it was learned that Troy Howard Johansen age 53 had entered an unoccupied residence without owner’s consent. Johansen was later located at his residence and place under arrest for Burglary in the 3rd Degree and transported to the Fayette County Jail to await his initial appearance.
