On Thursday, September 7th, 2023, the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle on State Highway 35 in the Township of Seneca. The operator of the vehicle was identified as Jordahn O’Connell (24) of Prairie du Chien.
O’Connell displayed extreme indicators of drug impairment, and Sheriff’s Office K-9 Diego was utilized and alerted to the presence of one or more controlled substances in the vehicle. The vehicle was searched and a plastic baggie containing methamphetamine was discovered.
The Sheriff’s Office Drug Recognition Expert conducted a drug influence evaluation on O’Connell, and she was subsequently placed under arrested and transported to the Crawford County Jail on charges of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of a restricted controlled substance with a passenger under the age of 16 years old, possession of methamphetamine, possession of a masking agent (Synthetic Urine), and violation of probation.
The Sheriff’s Office was assisted by Crawford County Department of Health and Human Services, Wisconsin Probation and Parole, and Milo’s Towing Service.
