The Winneshiek County Sheriff’s Office received a $650.00 donation for the K9 program from a recent kayak raffle that was done on August 26, 2023 at Bluffton Resort & Bar. Blaine & Julie Christopher were the winners of the kayak.
Currently the Winneshiek County Sheriff’s Office has two K9 service dogs. K9 McCoy and K9 Drago. The Winneshiek County K9 Units continue to be a countywide resource available to all agencies and communities within the county and surrounding area.
