The 2023-2024 Clayton County Fair Royalty was crowned Wednesday night. This year’s Fair Queen is Alyssa Kleinlein, the daughter of Dustan & Amber Kleinlein of Strawberry Point. Alyssa will be a senior this year at Starmont. Joshua Fenwick was named King. He is 16 years old and is the son of Wendy and Daniel Fenwick. Josh will be graduating early and committing to Iowa State University to become a DVM. Brooke Hansel was chosen as Clayton County Fair Princess. Brooke is the 17 year old daughter of Nick & Julie Hansel of Rural Guttenberg. She will be going into her senior year at Clayton Ridge High School this Fall.
A donation was also made with proceeds of the People’s Choice Award dollars going towards Marcus Gaul’s Governors Charity Show fundraiser in support of the Ronald McDonald House.
