
The Grant County Sheriff’s Office investigated a two vehicle crash on Hwy 35/61/81 at Hwy 129 last Tuesday (6/13). 70 year old Gerald Weber of rural Lancaster, was driving a pickup south on Hwy 129 and pulled out from a stop sign to make a left turn on to Hwy 35/61/81 in front of a truck driven by 30 year old Ryan Champa of Beloit. Champa struck the driver’s side of Weber’s truck. Weber was transported by EMS to a local hospital for evaluation. Weber was cited for Fail to Yield Right of Way from Stop Sign.
