A Rural McGregor home was destroyed by fire last week. McGregor Hook and Ladder Fire Chief Tom Sauer told us that on Thursday night at 5:30 pm they were called to a structure fire at 10611 Juniper avenue. While approaching the scene, they immediately called for mutual aid from the Monona fire department. The house was a total loss. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
