A semi rolled in Guttenberg Monday night and landed in a pond. The incident happened just after 6:00 pm Monday evening. The semi was carrying approximately 4800 gallons of milk and began leaking in the pond. The Linn County Regional Hazmat Team was dispatched to Guttenberg to contain the spill. The Driver was injured and taken to the local hospital.
The Guttenberg Fire Department, Guttenberg Police Department, Clayton County Emergency Management Agency, Iowa State Patrol, and Clayton County Sheriff’s Office all responded to the scene.
