The Prairie du Chien Common Council met Tuesday night and approved a request from the Chad Fradette family to assist with upgrading and restoration of the Reed House on St. Feriole Island. Fradette will pay for the project with no cost to the city. They will also install a ramp to make the restrooms handicap accessible. The council also approved the sale of two lots at Woodridge Acres. They also approved the Crawford County Alzheimer’s and Dementia Walk to take place on October First at St. Feriole Island. City Administrator Chad Abram will have more details on (tomorrow’s / today’s) Community Spotlight and People Places and Things, as well as details on a special benefit for “The Wheel of Todd” at the Eagles Club on Sunday.
